Adaptive Behaviour Assessment
Bairnsdale Psychology is a mobile assessment service. To ensure children feel as comfortable as possible, assessments are conducted at their school with the cooperation of their parents and the school.
Adaptive behaviour assessments are used to support diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders and to understand a child’s functional behaviours relative to their peers.
We are now taking referrals for behavioural assessments.
An behavioural assessment is used to:
Supporting in the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental and other psychological disorders.
Determine a child’s functional and adaptive behaviours relative to their peers.
Provide recommendations for strategies, supports and services that may be helpful for the child and those who support them.
Adaptive behaviour assessment tool:
Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales - Third Edition (Vineland-3)
This assessment is appropriate for individuals of all ages and aids in the multiple diagnoses. The assessment, with all inclusions mentioned below, takes approximately 2-3 hours.
Assessments
Psychological assessments will be charged at an hourly rate, the length of time required to complete the assessment will vary depending on what assessments are most appropriate.
Our hourly fee is $220.
Travel costs may occur, depending on distance travelled from Bairnsdale.
